Sea marshes off the historic village of Wachaprague hold sinuous bands of grasses that curve, vanish and reappear. These fluid waves of green or gold (in the Fall) stretch to meet the horizon. It is an ever-changing landscape. Awash with guts, mudflats and maritime shrubs. It a place that transforms with the ebb and flow of the sea. I am inspired to translate this unique and beautiful environment into meaningful brushstrokes.

COLORS: purple, sage green, golden oranges, pale yellow, soft blue.
