Let's Begin - 2020
A Collection of IG top 9 posts for 2019
However you arrived here, through Instagram, the Collector’s List or seeing my work at local shows, WELCOME! I am glad you are here.
2019 was a wonderfully full year. From my one-person show at Norfolk Botanical Garden to my whirlwind travels. It began with a trip to Seattle, and Bainbridge Island (to visit friends and take a four-day painting workshop), Then back to the East Coast and off with friends on a painting trip to Savannah, and Charleston. And, finally, to New York and London. Such warm and loving memories to cherish and experiences that fed my creativity and inspired me as a artist!
So, what’s planned for 2020? To be honest, I haven’t painted at all this year. This is a bit counterintuitive because I have all these goals, including a self-directed retreat in my studio. I’m taking it slow, putting systems in place, planning out my year by seasons and collection releases (something very new for me). I’m cherishing this slower time as I feel a transitioning into something new. It’s taking its sweet time getting here, but I’m not worried. All beautiful things require slowing down, taking more time and more space. So, here’s to a slower 2020, full of focus, clarity and vitality!
